Gail Mason limited edition art prints

Gail Mason limited edition art prints are known as original prints, as each silkscreen print is not a copy of another piece of work, but an original piece of art in its own right. This collection of her work was inspired by her visits to Africa and Egypt - reflected in the choice of bold, vivid colours she employs. Gail will only produce 95 copies of this print.

The print can be supplied unmounted / unframed (and will be dispatched in a postal tube) or framed, with a flat 20mm-wide white painted frame - the print is placed on top of a white mountboard and framed under acrylic safety glass, which looks like real glass but is much more break resistant. Please note - framing is done to order and the framed print can't be returned.

Size (approx): 54 x 54cm (image and paper size) / 66 x 66cm (framed).

Facts about this artwork:
* A silkscreen print is a form of stencil printing in which ink is squeezed through a screen onto paper. Each print is made up of 6 or 7 stencils, one for each colour, with each being printed separately by the artist.
* The image is printed on specialist print-making paper that is acid free, which means it's resistant to yellowing over time.

Gail’s work is primarily concerned with the positive impact of colour on the senses. Her images are characterised by strong use of colour and abstracted forms from the natural world. Her semi-abstract landscapes show an investigation into vibrant flat colour, form, mark making and stillness and have been described as 'joyful, arresting and peaceful' by Venue magazine. Gail’s work can be found in hospitals, educational establishments, corporate organisations and private collections.
