This blue glass wall panel is derived from the migration of birds over a setting sunset. Inspired by the changing of the seasons, this piece of contemporary glass art suggests the transience of the natural world. Each piece is unique as every one is individually signed and dated by the artist. The panel has been created by the hand-crafted method of fusing glass, which involves using a kiln to join together pieces of glass. Fixings and installation instructions are included. Limited edition run of 60.

Jessamy was brought up on the North East coast of England at Whitley Bay. She graduated from the University of Sunderland with a degree in Glass and Ceramics, then went on to complete her Masters degree in Glass Product Design at Edinburgh College of Art in collaboration with Edinburgh Crystal in December 2002. She is currently studying for her PHD in Glass and Ceramics, which she is due to complete in 2010. Joanne graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a 1st class degree in Three Dimensional Design, specialising in glass, then went on to complete her Masters degree in Glass Product Design at the University of Wolverhampton in collaboration with Edinburgh Crystal in December 2001. Jessamy and Joanne met as young designers working for the renowned Edinburgh Crystal Glass Company and soon discovered they were united in their passion for fused glass and love of innovative design.
