Marc Turnham contemporary artwork
Marc Turnham was born in Plymouth, England where he spent most of his early childhood until moving to Kent where he still lives and works as a professional painter and designer. Marc Turnham contemporary artwork features mixed media, simple lines and glass or stone elements which are used to create subtle and spacious compositions. His inspiration is drawn from minimalist architecture and the works of artists such as Ad Reinhardt and Carl Andre. Marc says of his work: 'I work with simplicity in mind. Once I have captured a feeling or effect of space and lightness in a composition it is as good as finished: all there is left to do is find objects for it to sit in harmony with.'
