Each one of these aluminium panels is hand-made so yours may vary slightly from the image shown. Liquid and tumbled glass are combined with pulped silver leaf to create this unusual piece of original art. This piece of Marc Turnham contemporary artwork has a 30mm deep central backing frame on the reverse of the aluminium panel which, when hung from a wall, creates the effect of a floating panel.

Marc Turnham was born in Plymouth, England where he spent most of his early childhood until moving to Kent where he still lives and works as a professional painter and designer. Marc Turnham contemporary artwork features mixed media, simple lines and glass or stone elements to create subtle and spacious compositions. His inspiration is drawn from minimalist architecture and the works of artists such as Ad Reinhardt and Carl Andre. Marc says of his work: 'I work with simplicity in mind. Once I have captured a feeling or effect of space and lightness in a composition it is as good as finished: all there is left to do is find objects for it to sit in harmony with.'
