This clock is a play on the iconic ‘stag's head’ which can often be found hung on the walls of stately homes. This version is decorative, but also practical as it provides a means of telling the time (a function not fulfilled by the original hunted version!). Polly Westergaard contemporary home accessories are unusual as well as being useful. The clock is made from powder coated mild steel and uses a pendulum movement.

Polly was born and brought up in London by her Danish father and British Mother, until she moved to Newcastle to attend Northumbria University, where she graduated with a Three Dimensional Design Degree in 2006. She then undertook a two-year design in residency programme at the university. She has been highly influenced by Scandinavian design and imagery drawing from the Danish side of her family roots which is evident in all of her products. Her work is influenced by the modernist movement and has been updated for the 21st century.
